A few simple guidelines so appointments stay smooth, calm, and on time.
Booking
Booking
- Please use the online booking page to secure your appointment.
- Please choose the service that best matches what you want so the right amount of time is reserved.
- If you would like to change or add more nail art on the day, this depends on the time available.
- If you need to reschedule, please do so with at least 48 hours notice where possible.
Cancellations
Cancellations & No Shows
- Please cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment whenever possible.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may affect future booking access.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment may need to be shortened or cancelled depending on the schedule.
Nails
Removal & Nail Fixes
- I do not remove hard gel nail products from elsewhere, please arrive to your appointment with naked and clean nails.
- If you think a natural nail needs attention before your appointment, please mention it before booking.
- If a nail fix is needed soon after your appointment because of prep or application, please get in touch so it can be reviewed.
- If a nail fix is needed within a week after you nail appointment due to prep or application, this will be free of charge.
- If a nail fix is needed after a week or due to no fault of the nail tech (Me) then you can book the "Nail Fix" service.
Other
Other
- Please arrive on time for your appointment.
- This is a private home salon, so dont bring anyone with you. Solo appointments only.
- Photos of your nails may be taken. If you do not want them featured, please let me know.
Data Privacy

- The website may use anonymous analytics to understand visits, popular pages, service interest, and estimated visitor areas.
- If you accept analytics, your browser may ask for permission to share an approximate location so we can understand which general areas our visitors come from.
- Browser location is rounded and used only as a general visitor area, not as an exact address or home location.
- If browser location is not shared, estimated location may be based on internet connection data instead and may not be exact. It is used only to understand general reach.
- The full IP address is not stored in the website analytics dashboard.
- Analytics tracking starts only after you accept it. Your choice is remembered for up to one year in a first-party consent cookie, so you do not need to answer the banner on every visit.
- The analytics cookies contain only your consent choice and a random visitor identifier. They do not contain your name, email address, mobile number, or precise location.
- If you are logged in and have accepted analytics, your page visits and website actions may be linked securely to your Gloss By Lexia account so we can understand customer journeys and improve the booking experience.
- Your analytics data is not sold or shared with third parties.
- You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time using the website privacy banner or the privacy settings link in the footer.
- Logged-in customers can request account deletion from My Account. Deletion requires a time-limited email link and a final confirmation step.
- Account deletion removes login access, personal profile details, private booking notes, identifiable website analytics, and unused rewards.
- Limited anonymised booking, service, price, and transaction records may be retained only where necessary for legal, tax, accounting, or legal-claim purposes. Retained records cannot be used to restore the deleted account and are removed when the applicable retention period ends.
